VULCAN SET TO ROAR AGAIN AT AIR DAY

Vulcan XH588 - Paul JohnsonXH558, the world’s only flying Avro Vulcan ‘V-bomber’, is RNAS Yeovilton Air Day’s first confirmed flying display participant. Now 55 years old, this thunderous Cold War icon will be among the largest, heaviest and noisiest types involved in this year’s show on Saturday 11 July. XH558 is a globally unique survivor and has brought Air Day to a standstill on each of its previous appearances at RNAS Yeovilton. Robin Williamson Live at Glastonbury Assembly Rooms, Tuesday 31st March

RWBard, harpist, storyteller, and founder member of The Incredible String Band Robin Williamson will perform a solo concert at the atmospheric stone hall of the Assembly Rooms, Glastonbury on Tuesday 31st March. Robin has performed to great acclaim at the Assembly Rooms many times over the past few years and he has never failed to impress – his voice seems to get mellower and richer with every year that passes. Mountain of Feed Donated to Somerset Animal Sanctuary

image007A mountain of animal feed has recently been donated to Ferne Animal Sanctuary. Helen Lacey, MD at Red Berry Recruitment, together with her staff in Shepton Mallett, Yeovil, Bridgwater and Taunton, decided to help the Sanctuary by asking all their contacts to donate whatever they could.
