CELEBRATE THE GREAT BRITISH AUTUMN AT LONGLEAT

Longleat is celebrating all things autumnal throughout the October half term holidays (October 20th – November 4th) with everything from aerial owl shows and firework spectaculars to ghostly tours and a Halloween-themed trail.

Owls at Autumn at Longleat

Set amidst the stunning scenery of Longleat’s Capability Brown-landscaped parkland, The Great British Autumn showcases traditional activities associated with the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness including apple pressing, pumpkin carving and chainsaw art.

There will be live owl flying demonstrations featuring barn and tawny owls taking place daily in The Longhouse.

There will also be the opportunity to meet a selection of farm animals, ride on mini tractors, watch ferret racing and listen to live banjo performances.

Visitors can enjoy a drive through the changing autumnal colours in the Safari Park and follow the Pumpkin Trail.

In keeping with Halloween Longleat House is hosting its ghastly Ghost Tours. Taking place four times a day from 24th October, the tours provide a frightfully exciting experience.
